A beautiful moment I witnessed in Washington Square Park
Yesterday was I was walking around in Washington Square Park taking photos and videos of the musicians I witnessed a beautiful moment between a father and his baby. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did
update:
I've uploaded another video of the pianist, his name is Colin Huggins and apparently he plays a lot at Washington Square Park, if you are nearby on the weekends do drop by and see him, he's really good.
Update: People have asked me what gear did I use to record this video. I used a Nikon D700 with a 70-200 vr lens and a rhode micrphone, there is also an earlier post which has all my gear listed in case you are interested.
NY Dance Parade may 21 2011
NY Dance Parade may 21 2011, a set on Flickr.
It's been too long since i've covered and event. Waking up to a beautiful saturday I decided to venture NY with my gear to see what I could capture. I had no idea what to expect and little did I know that today was the Dance Parade. So here are my pictures from this.
Let me know what do you think.
Tennis Girl
With the help of Sasha Hoffmann http://sashahofmann.daportfolio.com/
This picture was meant to highlight her favorite game, tennis, while doing something more interesting than just taking pictures of her playing
Los Petardos
Taken near the train station at Hato rey, Puerto Rico. Those explosions were actual real fireworks and they were really standing there. I just joined all the explosions from all the exposures into one picture and it ended up being beautiful
blue lingerine
This particular photo was done with a blue gelled flash hiding behind the curtains to give it a nice soft moody blue tone. The model was fantastic and has one of the better bodies i've had a pleasure to photograph.
Ed and Ash
Pretty much the most amazing couple I know. I've known them for years and every time I visit their house it's a great experience. During one of these visits the topic came up and I had all my gear with me, so we just set up in one of the child's room and started taking pictures.
Plenason
This was for a Plena group taken at condado. this picture was a very happy accident, since we originally planned another spot, but due tu unforseen circumstances had to change location at the last minute.
The group was just great and everyone was full of energy and enthusiasm all through the shoot. Thanks to that the picture ended better than I had hoped.
